Marinate Your Mustard Seeds
Sometimes simplicity is best, so we marinate our mustard seeds and serve tableside as part of a charcuterie board. The recipe is just a guide, you can add any flavors you like.
Combine in a medium bowl:
1/2 cup Yellow Mustard Seeds
1/2 cup Black Mustard Seeds
3/4 cup White Wine or Beer
3 TBSP Apple Cider Vinegar
1 tsp Salt
Cover and let marinate for 2 to 24 hours. The seeds will get plump and can be served as is!
For a thicker texture ad 1/2 cup ground mustard seed, and 1 TBSP honey if you prefer it less spicy.
Voila! A perfect sauce for slathering on your breads, meats and cheeses.
